We've gone crazy for cocoa by combining sugar-free chocolate fudge pudding mix, sugar-free chocolate drink mix and mini chocolate chips and placing it all in a sugar-free chocolate cookie pie crust. It doesn't get much better than that!

What You'll Need

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-serving) package sugar-free instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, divided
  • 1 cup fat-free frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1 (9-ounce) sugar-free chocolate cookie pie crust
  • 2 teaspoons sugar-free instant chocolate drink mix
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

What to Do

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, dry pudding mix, milk, and water. Mix well with a wire whisk. Mix in 1 teaspoon almond extract, and 1/4 cup whipped topping.
  2. Pour mixture into pie crust. Refrigerate about 15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining 3/4 cup whipped topping, remaining almond extract, and instant chocolate drink mix.
  4. Spread evenly over cheesecake filling. Sprinkle with almonds and chocolate chips. Refrigerate 2 hours or until ready to serve.

I could save myself the trouble and eat a "Klondike" bar. It has the same amount of carbs. Shheesh.

Hi ..... Sorry to bother you but I live in the UK and we don't seem to have (or at least I cannot find) frozen whipped topping in the supermarkets here, can this be substituted with something like Dream Topping. Also is Instant Chocolate Fudge Pudding Mix the same as Angel Delight. I really would like to make this along with other recipes from your site but some of the ingredients used don't seem to be available here in the UK.

Hello Susan! - While we have never used Dream Topping or Angel Delight in the Test Kitchen, after taking a look at them, we believe that they could work as substitutes for the frozen whipped topping and pudding mix. If you do give it a try, we'd love to hear how it turns out, so we can better assist our friends in the UK! Thank you for your comment!

what is meant by instant choc drink mix? Do you mean something like nestle quik that is added to milk?

Hi there! Yes, Nestle, Ovaltine, or any of those dry-powder instant chocolate drink mixes will work! Enjoy!
