This lighter warm pear dessert gets its elegant taste from a hint of flavorful almond. Although our Almond Pears Supreme is easy enough for a weeknight, it's fancy enough for entertaining too.
What You'll Need
- 1 pear,cored, sliced
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds
What to Do
- Preheat sprayed 8-inch skillet on medium heat. Add pear slices and cook, without stirring, until pear slices soften. Turn once and cook until pears are translucent. Sprinkle with sugar.
- Combine almond extract and 1 teaspoon water and add to skillet. Gently stir to coat pear slices. Remove to serving plate. Sprinkle with almonds.
