Foil-Packet Lamb Chops

Our fancy Foil-Packet Lamb Chops will fool your guests into thinking you spent hours in the kitchen. But with the help of soup mix and some key seasonings, you'll be sitting down to dinner in no time!

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 12 (2-ounce) lamb rib chops
  • 1 (1-ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 (14-ounce) can reduced-sodium diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, and flour.
     
  2. Tear off 1 (18- x 28-inch) piece heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place foil in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish.
     
  3. Place chops in pan; sprinkle evenly with flour mixture. Top with soup mix and remaining ingredients.
     
  4. Bring up 2 long sides of foil sheet; fold togehter, an then fold again. Repeat with short ends, forming a packet and leaving room for heat to circulate inside packet.
     
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through. Carefully open packets, as steam will escape.
