Cherry Dessert Shells

With just a few simple lighter ingredients we can turn out a company-fancy dessert that is light enough for anyone who has diabetes or is watching what they eat for any reason. Give our Cherry Dessert Shells a try and get ready for raves.

What You'll Need

  • 3/4 cup sugar free cherry preserves
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1 (1.9-ounce) package frozen mini phyllo shells, heated according to package directions
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts, finely chopped

What to Do

  1. In a small bowl, combine preserves, 2 tablespoons whipped topping, and orange zest.
     
  2. Spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture into each shell. Top with remaining whipped topping and evenly sprinkle with walnuts. Serve or refrigerate until ready to serve.
