Looking for the sweet and sour sauce they serve in Chinese restaurants? Now you can make it at home and we bet your freshly made version tastes a million times better. We think you'll agree after one bite of our Sweet-and-Sour Pork Roast.

What You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (2-pound) boneless center-cut single pork loin

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Coat a medium roasting pan with cooking spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, mustard, and salt. Place the pork in the roasting pan and coat completely with the honey mixture.

  3. Cover the pork with aluminum foil and roast for 30 minutes. Uncover and baste with the pan drippings.

  4. Roast the pork uncovered for 15 to 20 more minutes, or until no pink remains. Slice and serve with the pan drippings.

Notes

Note: With well-trimmed pork loin being so low in fat -- as low as chicken breast, and with even less cholesterol! - don't forget about "the other white meat" for a change of pace.
