Sink your teeth into our Tasty Turkey Patties for a lighter burger that fits a diabetic diet perfectly. In just minutes in your skillet, these babies will be ready and waiting to serve up and enjoy!

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 slices low-carb wheat bread
  • 1 package (1-pound) ground turkey breast
  • 1 cup grated zucchini
  • 2 tablespoon reduced-fat mayonnaise

What to Do

  1. Coat a medium skillet with cooking spray. Over medium heat, cook onions until tender, adding a few drops water if needed. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. In a food processor or blender, pulse bread until crumbs are fine. (Bread crumbs should measure about 1 cup).

  3. In a large bowl, lightly mix all ingredients. Form mixture into 5 patties.

  4. Coat skillet with additional cooking spray. Over medium heat, cook patties 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until no pink remains. Do not overcook!
