This lighter warm pear dessert gets its elegant taste from a hint of flavorful almond. Although our Almond Pears Supreme is easy enough for a weeknight, it's fancy enough for entertaining too.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pear,cored, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds

What to Do

  1. Preheat sprayed 8-inch skillet on medium heat. Add pear slices and cook, without stirring, until pear slices soften. Turn once and cook until pears are translucent. Sprinkle with sugar.

  2. Combine almond extract and 1 teaspoon water and add to skillet. Gently stir to coat pear slices. Remove to serving plate. Sprinkle with almonds.
