What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
- 4 dozen littleneck clams, scrubbed
- 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (like Old Bay)
What to Do

In a soup pot, combine the water, parsley, and red pepper. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat.

Add the clams to the pot. Cover and reduce the heat to medium. Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, or until all the clams have opened. Discard any clams that do not open.
- Serve the clams with the broth from the pot.
