I have not made this yet so I cannot rate it. Where can I buy sugar free vanilla wafers?

Hi there! Sugar free vanilla wafers are commonly found at your local super market. If you're not sure which aisle, make sure to ask your local store for assistance. Have a wonderful day!

This is NOT the old fashion banana pudding my mother use to make. We never knew what a pudding mix was. She cooked her sauce.

The comments about the pudding mix are quite valid. Is there any way you can include in this recipe a recipe for a from scratch vanilla pudding? This would be great for people who want to make it from scratch, and those of us who don't have access to instant vanilla pudding boxes.

Thank you for your suggestion, the Test Kitchen has noted this and will add this to our list of future recipes to make. :) Enjoy!

Homemade pudding is so much better and taste 100% better. It takes about 20 minutes to make. Just don't understand how anything called instant can be called "old fashion".

I have to tell everyone that old fashion pudding of any flavor was not made from instant pudding in a box.
