Bang Bang Cauliflower

You may have heard of Bang Bang Shrimp; well this recipe is our veggie-friendly version. One bite of these crispy baked cauliflower florets drizzled with the creamy deliciousness of bang bang sauce and you won't be able to stop. There won't even be crumbs left on the dish. It's that good! 

What You'll Need

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup whole wheat Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 (16-ounce) package cauliflower florets (5 to 6 cups)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoon hot sauce

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk egg and water. In another small bowl, combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley; mix well.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret in egg mixture, then in bread crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet and lightly coat with cooking spray. 
  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and crispy. 
  5. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, and hot sauce; mix well. Drizzle sauce over cauliflower and serve warm.
