What You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 boneless pork loin chops (about 4 oz. each), well trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

What to Do

  1. In a 9- x 13-inch baking dish, combine lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, wine, garlic and pepper; mix well. Add chops, cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight, turning chops over occasionally.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the chops, saute for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Pour the marinade over the chops and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and summer for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired doneness. Serve topped with the sauce.

Absolutely wonderful! My family loved it! They didn't even know they were eating a diabetic food! That marinade is DELICIOUS! I may use that for some other meat dinners.

What can I replace the wine with?

Hello there! Feel free to replace the wine in this recipe with beef broth, or with nothing at all. Either way will be fine!

This was really nice, so tasty! I served with some mushrooms and a stir fry rice with spring onions and yellow pepper for some colour. So enjoyed this. Two of your recipes in two nights and both big hits. May try this with pork tenderloin if we have company for dinner. Most certainly will have this again.

It's great!!! Definitely a keeper.

What a tasty pork chop recipe!
