Many childhood memories include making homemade freezer pops in paper cups. Well, we came up with a light and healthy version so that you too can enjoy the summery taste of Lemony Freezer Pops anytime you'd like.

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup granulated Splenda
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice (3 to 4 lemons)
  • 5 (5-ounce) paper cups
  • 5 wooden ice cream sticks

What to Do

  1. Heat sugar substitute and 1/2 cup water to boiling over medium-high heat in 2-quart saucepan. Reduce heat to simmer and, if needed, stir until sugar substitute dissolves. Remove from heat, pour into large bowl and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.

  2. Stir in lemon juice and 1 cup ice water. Pour into 5 paper cups. Freeze for about 3 hours or until partially frozen. Insert stick into center of cup. Freeze until solid. Peel off paper cups.
