Fresh Mango Sorbet

Did you know that the artificial sweetener Splenda can be added directly to foods and it works well for cooking and baking, too? Give it a shot in this yummy Fresh Mango Sorbet!

What You'll Need

  • 2 ripe mangos
  • 1 cup granulated Splenda
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

What to Do

  1. Peel the mangos and cut as much of the fruit away from the pits as possible; discard the skin and pits.

  2. Place the mango flesh and the remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender; blend until completely smooth. Pour into an ice cube tray; cover and freeze overnight.

  3. Remove frozen mango mixture from the tray and process in a food processor until smooth. Serve, or cover and freeze until ready to serve.

  4. Makes 6 (1/3 cup) servings.
