Now, you don't really have to serve it to a Captain, but we think this chicken dinner recipe is perfect for impressing company, too!

I made this Captain's Chicken in my Slow Cooker last night and it was delicious! P My husband liked it too! Yum! I'll give it a top 5 Stars!

I made this yesterday. It smelled delicious while it was cooking and it was pretty. It was, however, tasteless. I will not make it again.

The first time I made this, I followed the directions to the letter. AWESOME After that I bought leg quarters because they were cheaper. I removed the skin, separated the thigh and drumstick and left the bone in. It was still excellent, plus (it was a little messy - use napkins) I was able to eat the chicken the way you are suppose to eat chicken - with my fingers.

If you're not used to cooking with dark meat, give this a try. Boneless skinless chicken thighs will make it easier for you and dark meat is more flavorful and tender, especially if you want kids to eat it. Little kids can have a hard time chewing chicken breast meat. Also if your a beginner at curry, you might want to try Penzey's light curry and no cumin. Penzeys like Curry is a gateway to Indian food. LOL
