What You'll Need
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 onion, cut in strips
red bell pepper, cut in strips
green bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 pound beef cubed steaks
- 1 (14-1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, no salt added
What to Do
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook the peppers, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper for 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside.
Add the cube steaks to the same skillet and cook 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned, turning once.
Add the tomatoes to the skillet . Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until meat is tender.
