What You'll Need

  • 2 cups plus 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup granulated Splenda
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole ripe pears, peeled, halved, cored
  • 2 tablespoons 100% seedless raspberry spreadable fruit

What to Do

  1. In a small saucepan, heat 2 cups water, sugar substitute, and cinnamon stick until water boils, stirring occasionally. Using slotted spoon, add pears to boiling syrup. Reduce heat to low.

  2. Simmer pears 6 to 7 minutes, or until tender. Transfer each pear to a dessert plate.

  3. In a small microwaveable bowl, combine 1 tablespoon water and fruit spread. Microwave on HIGH about 15 seconds.

  4. Drizzle 2 teaspoons fruit spread over each pear half. Serve warm.
