Citrusy Brown Rice

Brown rice may be good for you, but it tends to be a bit bland. That's why we added some sweet from the raisins and tang from the oranges to this recipe. The result is our Citrusy Brown Rice, and you can enjoy this healthy side dish with all your favorites.

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup brown rice, cooked according to package directions
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped orange sections with juice

What to Do

  1. In a medium bowl, combine brown rice and raisins; let stand 5 minutes.

  2. Just before serving, fold in orange sections and juice.
