I love 3 or 4 bean salad with garbanzos! I made this so I could control the sugar, I added less, and also add yellow beans. I used the onion, garlic, pepper, and dried parsley that I got from Penzy's spices shop just down the road from me, and it was so delicious!

Y'all're callin this a 'Southern' Three Bean Salad and using garbanzo beans? I think not. Try white navy beans, Yankee uhh great northern beans, dry white butter beans or baby limas. You make hummus with garbanzo beans.
