What You'll Need

  • 3/4 cup liquid egg
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 rib celery, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 (6.5-ounce) cans refrigerated lump crabmeat, drained
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

What to Do

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except crabmeat and oil; mix well. Gently fold in crabmeat, being careful not to break up crabmeat chunks, then form into 12 equal-sized patties.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.

What is liquid egg?

Hi there! Liquid egg is an egg substitute made using only egg whites. You can find it right near the eggs at most grocery stores. Enjoy!

This recipe is very tasty and will have your family asking for seconds. I rate this recipe an A

The crab cakes sound delicious and I will make some for me. Thanks

Just what I was looking for...a recipe for Crab Cakes. Recently went to a restaurant and ordered the crab cakes, guess what?? there was NO crab meat in them...just breading, yes, I sent them back. Now I can make my own crab cakes and know there will be crab meat in them. Thank you, Mr. Food cooks.
