This Singapore Stir-Fry recipe was developed for my original Diabetes recipes, but it's so tasty, everyone will enjoy it!

What You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pound beef flank steak, 1 inch thick, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen stir-fry vegetable mix, thawed and drained

What to Do

  1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the steak strips and brown for 5 to 6 minutes per side.

  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the sweet-and-sour sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, hot pepper sauce, and black pepper. Add to the steak along with the vegetables.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring until completely mixed and heated through.
