Our pumpkin oatmeal recipe has a twist! We've added some apple for flavors straight from the patch, and the harvest! It's all your favorite fall treats, wrapped up into one hearty, and oh-so-yummy breakfast recipe! Our Pumpkin-Apple Oatmeal is a comforting way to start the day right! 

What You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup no sugar added apple juice
  • 1/2 cup canned pure pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped apples
  • 1 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar substitute
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

What to Do

  1. In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat, bring water, apple juice, pumpkin, and apples to a boil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine oats, brown sugar substitute, cinnamon, and nutmeg; stir into pumpkin mixture. Cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
