Perfect Pear Salad

The contrast of the chunks of juicy pears, creamy feta cheese and crunchy walnuts makes for a wonderful healthy combo of ingredients. We top our Mediterranean Pear Salad off with a tangy drizzle of low-fat balsamic vinaigrette for an easy yet elegant finish.

What You'll Need

  • 4 cups mixed field greens or bite-size romaine lettuce
  • 2 Anjou pears, cored, cut in large chunks, with skin on
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

What to Do

  1. Place lettuce on 4 salad plates, distributing evenly. Arrange pear chunks over greens and sprinkle with feta cheese, distributing evenly.

  2. Drizzle each with dressing and garnish with walnuts. Serve immediately.
