If you're still trying to find ways to get your kids (and those young at heart) to eat more fruit, Fruit Squares are a fun way to tempt their taste buds! Different fruit and sugar-free fruit gelatins combine to make a tasty duo that's a great alternative to high-calorie, packaged snacks.

What You'll Need

  • 2 cups no-sugar-added applesauce
  • 2 packages (4-serving size) sugar-free strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1 1/2 cup diet lemon-lime soda

What to Do

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring applesauce to a boil. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients; mix well.

  2. Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish. Let cool, then cover.

  3. Chill at least 8 hours, or until set. Cut into squares and serve.

Thumbs-up for gluten-free meal plans!

My kids left me after I made this. But I liked it.

Very sweet. Something different. We're not jello people

I just have to make this and keep it on hand when I need a sweet treat! You don't find sugar free gelatin with fruit in it anywhere, so you have to make it yourself. And the diet soda adds pizzazz and zip to it!
